Milestar tires
Hello xj community, today I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of the Milestar Patagonia radial tires. I think they are a fairly new tire. I was wondering if there were any reviews on this tire that you guys might have had.

Ok, looks like they're made by Tireco, a cheap tire company. Cheap in every way. If you're looking for a quality tire, you're at the bottom of the list. I, for one, would not want the word Patagonia on my side wall lol.

Here's something I wrote up awhile back.
Here is a list of Tire companies by ownership for anyone who is interested. This is not a list of where the tires are made but a list of companies/countries to where the money ultimately flows. Some American companies manufacture abroad, and some foreign companies have manufacturing in America. Some companies are made using the facilities of another company without any ownership relation between the two.
Subsidiaries are listed in parenthesis. Subsidiaries may or may not have specific headquarters in countries separate from their parents. Some of these companies or their subsidiaries own shares in competitors' companies. For example, a European subsidiary of Bridgestone is the largest minority shareholder of Nokian; Cooper owns ~10% of Kumho. Yeah, it's not as simple as some of you thought, right?
If a list of where tires are manufactured is desired, I could probably put one together, but it would be significantly more work. Manufacturing is much more complicated as companies often manufacture in multiple locations in multiple countries and manufacturing location can often vary by model and/or market. It's very messy.

You don't want cheap. Buy once cry once. Cheaper tires typically don't last as long or have good performance so you end up paying more in the long run. Get a good tire and be done for awhile. You want cheap though? Check out iron man or Hercules. Decent tires

There are many great AT's to choose from in 31" in your budget or sometimes even less. MT's aren't as easy to come by, but a quick glance I just did showed General Grabber MT, Kumho KL71, Dick Cepek Extreme Country all fit your budget from Tirerack. If you have a source for Hercules around you, I'd wager that they'd have a few options in your budget.

When I bought my Discover AT3s 2 years ago the dealer had the Patagonias in stock also. If I remember correctly the Patagonias were an inch shorter and the tread was almost 2 inches narrower. Both tires were 31/10.50-15s.
edit: the Coopers were 638 dollars tax and all.

Seeing that I got my wheels and tires, mounted and balanced for $765, I dont see why you cant get good tires alone for less then $650. Mine are the BFG K02 31x10.5. Just do a lot of searching on the web. Dont forget about looking for discount codes as well. I found a 20% off one which is why I got mine so cheap.
4wd.com is where I would start.
