Default Mickey Thompson Sidebiter on 2000 XJ with 3 inch lift

I have a question on whether these wheels will fit my Jeep. I looked at all the specs and they seemed to line up, so I went into America's Tires to potentially order them. I have a 3 inch suspension lift. The guy working there told me the offset of these wheels would be a problem (the -30mm). I was looking to get them in 15x8. Can somebody clue me in on whether he is correct? I have seen many XJs with these wheels and damn love it, and I really don't want to settle for less. So why can other XJs with the same lift have these, and this guy telling me the offset will not work?
That'd be awesome if I could get a response from somebody else with the MT Sidebiters, thanks.

As long as you get 5x4.5 and around 4.5-3.5 back spacing you'll be just fine

The 15x8s have 3.31" backspacing. They'll fit, but they are gonna stick out quite a bit.
According to Mickey Thompson, that's the only offset available in a 15x8. Around 3.75-4" backspacing would be better. Which is why I bought my black steel wheels instead of those, I didn't want the tires sticking out that much, especially since mine doesnt have flares, I don't think it would have looked right.
