maxxis m/t vs. sigma mud claws
Im looking at getting a new set of tires for my 98, i really like the look of the mud claws they remind me of thornbirds, but Im wondering if the Maxxis perform better. Just need a little push to get one or the other
Maxxis 33x12.5x15 are 725 out the door price
Mud claws same size are alittle over 800 out the door
Sigma Mud claws are made by COOPER tires.

I used to run a set of wild country MTX's which are the same as the mud claws. Cooper makes a bunch of off brands that all look the same. They are really good in the mud and rocks and they do ok in the snow when they are new. Mine have about 45k on them and they are about 30% or so. All in all they are a good tire but for the price you can get better.

Do they have to be an M/T? What about duratracs? They run a little cheaper and are great! The dunlop mud rovers and the firestone destination m/t's are nice as well. Btw where at in Tx do you live? I used to live in Galveston and Katy

mud claw all the way
go with the mud claw.....I live in houston the clean better than any tire i have ever seen on the sand.....i wheel with people with bfgs and even pro comp mts and i out wheel them any day with even smaller tires....the tires are killer for the price esspecially for the nasty southeast texas mud. I have never had them on the rocks so idk how they proform but i can tell you my next set of tires will be mudclaws without even thinking twice
