Default Major problem:steering stabilizer hitting oil pan

I just replaced my stock stabilizer with a rough country and I just noticed that its hitting my oil pan which is a big concern. Any one else have this problem? I plan on removing a spacer and hopefully that will cure it.

then take it off. its not needed if you are properly aligned and everything is tight. all it is is a band aid for the real problem.

Oh so that is why a Cherokee comes with one from the factory.

I think a ss is good at what it does: reducing bumpsteer. If its not needed, then what else isnt needed? Should we also remove the power steering pump?
