Lunchbox Locker Behavior...Is this normal?
Having issues with my back brakes on my XJ. I decided to Jack the rear up so I could adjust them. I put the transmission in neutral so I could spin the tires as I adjusted the brakes. As I spun the rear tires,I could hear my locker clicking. I fired the vehicle up,with the rear tires in the air,and put it in Drive and the clicking from the locker went away.
Is this normal behavior for a locker to click when the transmission is in neutral and the wheels are spun and then for the clicking to stop once a load is put on the rearend?
Any other time, the only way my Locker makes ANY noise,is when I am going around a corner or taking a turn.
