LSD "and " Aussie Locker
 

Hey Y'all,
I have already installed an Spartan Helical LSD in the front D30HP. What is your opinion or hard facts on installing an Aussie Locker in the rear end along with already having the LSD in the front? Do these two compliment each other or is this a no no? I have no idea about this. Thanks for your input.

I just installed an Aussie in the front, with the plan to do one in the rear at some point. While the Aussie works well on and off road for me, I am rethinking putting one in the rear.

in the front, with 4x4 off, I do not notice it’s there for the most part. This will not be so for the rear, and will require full attention when driving on the road.

also, while unnoticeable for the most part in front, it is at its loudest during slow turns in parking lots, drive through etc. and others hear it too. Kinda embarrassing and the noise makes it feel cheep if I’m honest.

im probably going to do a lsd in the rear, or an ox with electric solenoid.

That would be a great setup. I have a Spartan locker in the rear and it works great, use 85w140 gear oil and they will be quiet.
