Default Lower Sway Bar Link Mount Question

Doing a lift on my son's 2000 XJ. Cannot get the darned lower mount bold out of the mount that is welded to the frame......see picture.

The question I have is.........Is that T55 bolt THREADED into that mount bracket or should it simply slide through it into the sleeved bushing on the other side? I soaked it in PB Blaster and already bent a T55 tool trying to twist the thing out. If it is just rusted in the hole, I will just keep pounding and may even try drilling that stupid thing out.

Any advice anyone has on what to try to get that stupid thing removed would be greatly appreciated!! I would REALLY love to get this project done today....UGH!

It's pressed in. A gear/pulley remover of some sort can pop it right out.

Gear puller worked perfectly. It was rusted in there like an SOB, but it came out. Thanks!

I just grind the head off, put bunch of washers or a length of tube and tighten the nut. It ll pop off without effort.
