Default lower control arms needed for 3 inch lift?

Looking to score a lift with the RC sale thats going on. is the series 2 kit worth the extra cash for the control arms? or would it be fine to get the standard 3 inch kit? input would be helpful!

You can use your present arms on a 3" lift. The new links just make it stronger. I ran them for years when I had a 3" lift.

I started with the same kit and spent the coin on the lower arms and would do it if you have it.

The lower arms from the factory will work fine for 3". The issue is they aren't as strong as aftermarket arms. If you plan on going bigger than 3" at some point, I would recommend going ahead and getting a set of adjustable arms now.

If you are going bigger, then make sure you get adjustable lowers. Then a spacer and a good upper, preferably adjustable, would allow you do it right then.

I'm running stocks arms on 3" of front lift, only problem is slight caster problem but it isn't a big deal. a 1/4" shim on the lower control arm would fix the problem but I haven't felt a need for it yet.
