I used the Moog Problem Solver arms on mine. Pretty sure they are the same as the premium version. Mine had Clevite bushings in them which I am pretty sure are the same as what came from the factory. Dont forget to change out the front top arm bushings that mount in the top of the axle while you are there! They are no fun to change but well worth it.

Yes I found a Problem Solver lower control arm online and it has the premium part number CK660203.

I also took a look at Mopar OEM control arms and their more than twice the cost of premium Moog. Uncertain how they compare.

I took a look at my UCAs and the axle bushing appear to be ok.

When the bolts aren't totally centered inside the bushing usually means the bushings are worn, but from what I could see the uppers appear to be ok.

I have an inexpensive Ball Joint Service Kit I picked up several years ago from Harbor Freight only used a few times where I should be able to replace the upper bushings my self.

From what I understand to remove and install the bushing on the axle requires you angle the press just right on the axle bushing. I have an 3/4" electric impact gun that should work to control the press, however from videos observed online the bushing can become very stubborn to remove, sometimes require cutting them out.

I suppose I could clean up the LCA mounts myself and just have the welder weld on new mounts however I would need to drive it to their shop without any control arms and I don't have a garage or lift to work on the XJ.

I think if I remove the LCA mounts and cleaned up the axle myself would perhaps save me an hours work @ $65.00. ?

I don't have a lift, garage or carport, so I'm thinking of letting the mech do it. I don't think it should take more than an hour to burn off the old lca mounts, grind and install new LCAs with bushings already installed? Also purchased were new LCA bolts and nuts.

Yes, the Clevite bushings are OEM.
