Low Profile Light Bar
Hello everyone,
So I have a typical first world problem... So I bought a new winch for my XJ and currently I have my ghetto light bar mounted to the winch plate bolt holes. So clearly this won't work when I go to install the winch.
I want to build a low profile light bar that will hang the lights just above my AS-1 line. I want to have them inverter so they will be a little more protected. Has anyone done this? I was just going to use angle iron bolted to the stock roof rails. This would create a platform for a future low profile rack. I have a set of 4 hella 500's wired up together.Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading,

The problem with that one it used a odd size cheapo brand light bar.For 165 you can https://www.facebook.com/detoursoffr...rdware?fref=ts it uses any 40 inch light bar.Or this one http://shop.hooliganoffroadengineeri...r-mount-LB.htm lets you use any size light bar you want or two small ones.

I want to be able to use my current lights hung upside down so that they hang and low as possible. I would probably have to sleep in my garage for the next foreseeable future if I bought a LED bar. Don't get me wrong I do plan on getting one just not until my winch SYE kit and long arms are purchased and paid for. That isn't in the budget for another year or so. MY goal is for the lights to hang below or close to the roof line and above the AS-1 line. That should be a total of 5-6 inches which is plenty for the hellas. Or If I can't find something I might try to mount them over the winch or on the sides.

Olympus off road lights are a joke for what they charge.
If a person is looking for a good price for lights check out aliexpress

For the light output and price Olympus is hard to beat.Yeah there is cheaper ones out there but wonder why they are cheaper? They are made with cheaper parts which will not last as long or have the light output of a quality made led light bar will.
