loud rattle i can't find...

so I was driving my XJ to school today and about the time it got up to normal operating temp for a minute or two a loud rattle when accelerating became apparent... anyone have any ideas what it could be? its only when your accelerating and its only once its up to 210 degrees or so...

but isn't the aux fan run at a constant speed when its on so acceleration wouldn't be a factor?

Check the fan shroud and see if the fan is hitting anywhere.

i did and it doesnt hit anywhere unless when the motor flexes it does... but i hear the mechanical fan running when i first start out... im wondering is it something to do with the tranny? or what would be loose that could cause that?
