Loose steering help, track bar/drag link angle
Ok, so I just lifted my jeep with a 4.5" RC X-series lift with control arm drop brackets. I had a friend (mechanic, has a shop) put it on for me because I didn't have time. He recommended I get a drop pitman arm so I did. The steering just seems so loose now (didn't drive it with lift and stock pitman arm). It will drive straight, but angled road, bumps anything makes it want to turn. I thought I read that the trackbar and drag link should be parallel with each other...like this
This is how mine looks. they don't look parallel
My question is..should I remove the larger drop pitman arm and put the stock one back on so it would raise the drag link angle similar to the track bar? Any suggestions much appreciated!!!

Your angle is only off by a small amount. How much of a drop was the pitman arm? I think you'd be better off with the stock arm.
You want to draw an imaginary line from the mounting point on one end of the trackbar to the mounting point on the other. Then line that line up with your drag link.

I put a 2" mine and the same thing happoned. I found a guy on Ebay and I got all new tierod ends and track bar. She's all good now. Make sure that the track bar bolt is the right size and tight.

You can't look at a tie rod end, usually, and tell if it's bad. Try wiggling the tie rod and drag link and get someone to turn the wheel back and forth and look for play.
