I have a 99 Xj with 3 1/2" lift 32"tires and notice that I can grab the stewarding shaft where it goes into gearbox and wiggle it. Not a lot but it does move around, and I am getting a slight clunk from it. Look at the rest of the front end it's all tight and mostly new from me replacing it. Any ideas? It shaft suppose to wiggle? Sorry steering shaft!

Steering box mounting bolts can also become loose. This allows the steering box to move causing a clunking sound, make sure you check the mount bolts before deciding to replace the steering gear box.
