I have the very basic idiot light cluster with no gauges accept mph and gas. I want a cluster with all the gauges.. How much of a project is this and what will I need to do?

Super easy. 97+ pull old and replace with the upgrade one. Sensors will all work. Did it a couple years ago and zero issues on my 97. Pre-97 I am pretty sure you have to swap a couple sending units but still very easy. One if the better upgrades to do IMO. The idiot light cluster made the XJ feel so cheap.

I have done this to my 89 Renix and to my wife's 00, both XJs 4.0

on the 00 is straight forward, just take the old cluster out and drop the new one in.

on the 89, apart from the obvious (swap the cluster) I had to change the Temp and oil pressure sender units, just because the old ones do not send "levels" of signal, just a on/off signal for the idiot lights

Wiring is the same, nothing to wire, just had to have the right senders, pretty sure a search on the forum will throw the correct part numbers.

Just bought myself a cluster that only has 26k on it! Now I would like to put done bright white led bulbs in it... How many bulbs are in the 95 and what size bulbs are they?
