I got the aluminum valve cover like the one from 4 wheel.

The push in cap sucks.

Can I get a better one some place?

My 90 has a 1/4 turn cap. Perhaps a trip to the scrap yard could net a nicer cap.

Interesting.

Because the dumb cap that comes with these covers can be lifted off with your pinky. Oil always comes out it sucks.

I know for a fact that a 93 cap won't fit on a 90 easily (by that I mean you can't twist it on and go), when I first got my parts jeep I tried it because I liked the look of the 93 better. I would assume it wouldn't work when reversed either.

You lost me cruiser. Are you saying I need to put a thicker gasket on my oil cap? I'm not seeing any leak issues.

If it leaks, yes. If not, it's a miracle.

Ha! I couldn't tell you if it leaks. It looks like Valdez under the hood. The PO let a leaking valve cover gasket go for years, adding a quart a week. Oil everywhere. On an unrelated topic, I am open to suggestions on how to clean the entire engine compartment of oil.
