long arm upgrade?
I have a 95xj with a rc 4.5 lift, i have been thinking of buying a long arm upgrade kit. I have full springs in the rear, i want to put 1-1.5in lift shackles in the rear and 5.5in springs and .5 spacers in the from. So ill have 5.5-6in of lift total. But rc only makes the kit for 4.5 and 6.5. My question is does anyone make a 5.5in long arm upgrade. If not, would it be okay if i used the 6.5?

ive been running the rc longarm kit for about 3 months now. it is an excellent kit and well designed in my opinion. i think it is a way better design than the iron rock kit by far.
the iron rock kit is a 3 link which uses the factory 10mm bolt for the single upper. other 3 link kits come with a custom mount with a larger bolt for a reason.
the 2nd design flaw is it only uses the 4 factory crossmember mounts. you are adding a ton of extra stress to those 4 bolts and the unirail in that area, that was not designed for it. the RC kit uses 6 bolts on the bottom side, and 4 bolts going through the unibody.
3rd design issue i dont like is you cant set you're pinion angle with out spending an extra 100 dollars.
the only thing i have had an issue with in the RC kit was my flex joints had play in them after 5000 miles. RC warrantied them with no issues.
also RC has superior customer service to anybody i have dealt with, especially rubicon express.
the RC kit also comes with a transfercase skid.

X2 the ironrock crossmember is also adjustable for a T case drop if needed up to 1 inch. The IRO longarm kit is much different than anyother kit but perform great!!! they have the beef to back it up!!

hold on now lets not go around saying the IRO kit is beefy. because it's not. it is different but different is not always better. still, I'd choose them over RC or rustys
