Locking hubs
I got have a brand new set of warn locking hubs brand new I picked up from a friend for very very cheap. I have a 8.25 I'm swapping in with shafts and a lunch box locker with disc brakes from a zj. Question is, is it worth butting the hubs it's I use it as a daily along with my pick up and I'm building the jeep for off-road use and road use. What locker is worth putting in the d30 with locking hubs full case or lunch box? Or should I stay away for the hubs compleatly. Like I said I have the hubs and they are new never used and got them for very very cheap? Thanks guys

You're gonna have to spend at least another $1000 on a free spin kit if you wanna be able to use the lock outs on a Dana 30. Warn hubs are garbage imo anyway. Yukon lockouts are the only way to go.

Off road i rather have the stock unit bearings they are sealed,The old school locking hubs use wheel bearings that can get water and mud inside them. You have to clean out the hubs a few times a year.

That's one of the dumbest reasons I've heard not to use hubs. A properly assembled sealed hub does not take in dirt or water unless it's submerged for a prolonged period of time. Hubs are 10x stronger than stock unit bearings and serviceable. Way better in my book.

No I don't do mud. Rather have a hub as my weak point over my ring gear or shaft. Look into Yukon hardcore lockouts. Basically a drive flange that can be turned off. And if they fail they fail in the locked position. A regular drive flange is impossible to run on the street.
