Default Light Wiring Routing Roof Racks & Lights Bars

Here in a few weeks I plan to add some lights to my roof rack and I wanted to see / here how you ran your light wits in to the cab.

Please let me know or pics please.

I don't have any photos but I drilled a hole in my roof, put in a rubber grommet, ran the wires through and sealed it with silicone. Then I ran the wires under the plastic trim up to the dash-mounted switch. Then, from there, through the firewall towards the battery, where I located the relays.

When I was in the military we had some nice water proof connectors that we used, wonder where I could find something like that so when I pull the roof rack off I could just disconnect it, cap it and done.

This. It's just easiest and the most professional. Drill your hole so the wire comes up right under the roof rack rails and you'll never see it.

^^^^^^^^^^this and what the other guy said. Don't go behind the windshield trim. Don't close door on it. Just drill a hole in the roof.
