Light bar mounting to 97+
Would it be a good idea to weld on a bent tube light bar to the stock bumper? I have a 98 sport, and I want to design a custom light bar and have it welded to the metal part of the bumper between the plastic endcaps.
I think it'd look cleaner than bolting it using tabs, but I haven't seen any on here that are welded. If anyone has a picture of what I'm talking about, that would also help.

Yeah I've seen the zoneworx/detoursusa light bars, and I really like them but I would rather make my own due to the cost/fun of it. I'm in a pretty remote area so shipping would be a killer.
If anyone is interested, I've decided to use a welded cap with stud design to hide the hardware. I have access to the machine shop at the mill I work at, so all it would cost me is the 1.5" tubing.
