The lifting begins ! Add a Leaf questions ?
Hi Guys,
Well I'm fitting the first part of my lift tomorrow, RC Add a Leafs, the big ones, I bought new U bolts too, I've never tried anything like this before, the instructions supplied are pretty clear and I'm happy to go for it but before I do are there any "secrets" that I need to know?
Also when I reassemble the spring pack do I grease the leaves or assemble dry ?
Thanks guys
Martin

Grease your center pins..leave the main leaf attached to the frame and shackle take the other leafs out insert your leaf into the packet in order of length...get some c clamps and tighten the pack down to the main leaf. The back was so easy for me...use a flat head and a hammer to get the pack clamps off..pb helps...only problem I had was recentering my axle to get the head of the center pin to fit in the plate hole.
