Lifted 96 xj keeps popping out of 4hi....

As the title says I have a 96 XJ 4.0 with a 5speed. It is lifted 6.5" and the best I can tell it still has the factory tcase linkage. Whenever I'm wheeling, it pops out of 4hi. There is no problems with 4lo. Any and all help would be great.

You have a t case drop? Linkage is probably not set right because of it.

This is highly likely. Try to adjust the linkage. There is a set screw (bolt) in a block that can be adjusted.
Or, check this out and replace the linkage altogether.
