lift suggestions, NOT random ??'s of whats best
Ok, got a 93 coupe and narrowed it down to wanting a 3' lift on 31's. It will be my DD when in NYC on business 6/7 times a year (I may put 5k miles, if that a year). My rig will NOT see any off-road or trail time but if any of you guys have driven in NY you know the whole damn city might as well be a trail (yes the roads are that bad) esp in Brooklyn.
Ok you have the back story! After reading and reading seems like OLD MAN EMU is the way to go (but expensive $900) and any AAL is pretty much a waste of money.
What Im looking for is a happy medium of EMU's great ride (from what Ive read) and AAL cost. Something that can take a New York pothole, uneven pavement, overall crappy road beating. What can give me the best ride on the worst pavement in America?
I wanna do it right one time the first time.
Should I just say screw it and OLD MAN it? Or is there a better cheaper alternative or happy medium route?

I say OME it!
I just ordered my OME parts from George (ext. 484) at Morris 4x4 Center. He gave me the JEEP10B discount which was 10% off. He also reassured me that everyone who has ome lifts totally bragged about the quality of ride and flexability of their parts.
I simply ordered the front and rear springs, hd version, "2inch" lift. Under $400 to my door. I will buy new shocks next month.
Hope this helps..
