I'm going with RC 3inch or 4.5 I've heard ppl say their shocks sucks so if I order the kit without them, what other shocks could I use that won't break the bank?

Iv heard really good things about the Zone Nitro shocks (I'll give you my opinion in 2 weeks if ya want), and they are 40 dollars each. Or you could go with bilsteins, they are more expensive, but a lot of people love them

I did the same thing and put in the Zone Offroad Shocks. Went from 3 inches to 4.5 with the RC lift.

You'll notice on the website that Zones Nitro shocks have the same part number for the front shocks for the 3 AND 4.5 inch lifts. I didn't realize this and had to order a 2nd set for another application. This is because they are valved for both lifts. BUT, if you plan on flexing your jeep at all, they're no good. They're too short. I actually got them to get me WJ shocks(iirc) with conversion brackets for the front. These shocks are longer and work well. I can say that the ride is excellent with these shocks too.

I actually have the new set of Zone Nitro Shocks on ebay right now for $50 plus the shipping. (Just the fronts) If you're interested.
