That 2nd kits for a ZJ Grand Cherokee, there are budget boost pucks available for your front application. 1st looks like a decent deal, you will have to dissassemble the leaf springs to install those helpers.
Wander thru the fab and build sections of the forum for a lot of learning. Get your 01 running reliable, select and objective build you would like to obtain and is doable for your needs. Then make a plan to get there, will save you from spending money on the wrong things along the way.
Now that you have a jeep, cash will always be tight, the jeep will have it's own way.
Look forward to some future pics.

Pucks doubled up, you could, lotta lift that way, tough to reassemble the front end, you will need helpers, you would need longer shocks, snubber extension, track bar extension, getting iffy height, may need to get drop pitman arm, front end alignment, and caster adjustment. Does it fit your plan?

Don't get me wrong, I use2" of pucks, but that ZJ set doubled up is getting out there.
Lift, with longevity, and maintaining functionality requires balance of a number of parts. They have to work together.
Once your up there, adjustments will be required to maintain geometry of steering and driveline.

You could do the ZJ set up doubled on each side... You'd end up at 6" in front and to match the rear the "cheap" route would be to do blocks, shackles and shackle relocation brackets. Once you hit that height though, you'll need shocks (6.5"-7") brake lines (or unscrew the mounting screws in front) adjustable trac-bar, drop pitman arm (or one from a ZJ) lower control arms at least and tires (stock tires on 6" lift looks absolutely ridiculous, I have 33"s on 6" with fenders cut quite a bit and they look small nor do they rub anywhere) AND shims in the rear at the least. A budget 6" lift can be achieved for around $1000 overall. But not advised! I got a great deal on my lift used from a friend and with proper parts I'm in it almost $2700 with tires and countless hours of labor (which gets really pricey. Average lift install is 8+ hours at $80+ an hour)

I would just do 2 inch coil spacers and 2 inch lift shackles. taking your leafs apart is a pain ive been told. I did a 2 inch lift with spacers and shackles for 65 bucks.

Add a leafs may not even do much anyways being that you have a newer XJ. They came with a higher arch than 96 and older models. Add a leafs are usually only helpful when you have old tired springs. Stick with shackles and pucks for now and when you have the coin to drop buy true 4.5" coils and leafs.
Or do it cheap by getting front coils from a V8 ZJ and leafs from a full size Chevy. Will give you just about 3". Bumpy *** ride though.

Save your cash and do some major googling. Don't blow your wad all over something you'll hate and be embarrassed about a month later.
Welcome btw!
