Default lift kits!!

Hey y'all, I'm new to this forum, and seeing as how I just bought my first jeep today I'm pretty new to messing around with stuff and working on it. But it came with 32's and they are rubbing like crazy when I turn. It has a two inch lift, but some kid did it and things just don't feel right.. I want to get a four inch lift for it, but will that mean I gotta mess with drive line angles and brake hose lengths and all that crap?? What do y'all got to say??

brake lines for sure but thats no problem, as for drive line angles you will need at minimum a t case drop. but brake lines and the drop are no big deal to do. as for type of lift (even though you didnt ask lol) i dont care what anyone says i loved my 4.5 inch rough country x series.

rubbing where?
I thought rubbing was a backspacing issue. not more lift

Rubbing on the front wheel wells on the side closest to the cab.
And.so if I get that lift, what all is.involved in it to get it trail ready? Not.just the bare minimum to get by, like a good, solid setup that I won't have to worry about

its all there, unless you wanna upgrade the shocks. plus something for driveline, sye is best but t case drop will work. then you will need an alignment, i did my own most people go to a shop though.

What's the difference between the 4.5 lift and then the 4.5 x series?

rough country is the bare minimum. everything about it. some people are cool with it but I'd hate to see another good xj get set up on poor quality parts

I apologize for that very poor choice of words I edited it immediately. it's not about money I can barely afford the lift I'm looking at

lol i knew what you were trying to say, but like you said it wasnt worded the best lol, i dont take personal offense to things like that. college kid budget blows though lol. i agree they are not the best parts but i don't think they will leave you stranded (under normal circumstances) in the past very years the quality of rc parts does seem to be getting better though

haha good man I'm glad I didnt offend you.
and the only reason I want to drop a little more on and RE kit is because apparently they last longer and have better ride quality
so to the OP, I'm going with Rubicon express for a little more $$$ and I've heard nothing but good reviews
but then again I've never used any rough country parts so I cant say ****! haha. do some SERIOUS research

thats the only problem with the interwebz some people say product A is great and product B sucks and the other way around. my rc lift worked pretty good i have no complaints i sure rode better then my 3 inch aal did. i still am using my 4.5 rc but its been modified quite alot so it dont really count anymore lol. some people say the joints are not good in them but i have yet to have a problem......but as said above i would get re over rc if you have the coin forsure

That college kid budget is exactly where I'm at. 18, full time school and full time work is difficult! :/
So if I get the x series and the a yoke kit, then id be solid right??

Does it mess with the driveline angles and stuff too bad if I only go with a 3"?

screw the yoke kit at 3" get a t-case drop. you might vibe a bit but it's way cheaper.
for a 3 inch lift or so top of the line is Old Man Emu
but you could easily do and add a leaf kit from RC rustys or rubicon express go check out some websites
