lift install help
Got my front end all apart. Coils out trac bar out shocks out and one lca out. My question is about my new lcas...I had a hell of a time getting my axle pulled forward on my last 4.5 lift once I pulled out both the stock lcas...thats why I only pulled one so far. Can I install one of the new ones then remove the other stock one? Im wondering because they are adjustable and in order to get the first one in it is set to about the length of a stock one...any tips here would be appreciated.

Remove both of them then adjust your new lowers to the correct length. Get one lca in and then wrap a ratchet strap from the axle to the bumper right next to the lca bracket. Put the axle end on and run the bolt through it. Then have a buddy start to ratchet the axle forward while you line up the body side of the lca with a prybar

what lift did you buy?
i'm just wonderin who would build an arm with the flex end on the axle?
what's on the frame end? what end has the adjuster?
this seems weird to me, but i'm glad you got it all figured out.

The LCA's are generally easy to go in. Mine also has flex end on the body side and regular bushing on the axle side.
Now the UCA's if you got those holy hell they are harder to get in. I had to ratchet strap mine.
Lowers 16.5 in center to center. Uppers are 15.5in center to center.

It wasn't a kit..I pieced the lift together. They are Rubicon express superflex lower adjustables. Rubber bushing on frame side, flex joint on axle side. Makes since with the way they are made...the flex end is shaped where it won't make contact with the shock mount
