lift gate body armor????
anyone know if they make body armor for the rear lift gate i tried google to no avail. Also I searched here and have yet to see any matches.

I am doing the rear quarter panel armor. I just wanted it to kind of match a bit and I have replaced it twice lol but with another stock gate. That thing shatters pretty easily. Maybe I can just fab up something. trouble would probably be the weights on the lift struts.

yeah the glass did and well and as the gate is self had spiderweb cracking all in it. Just thought it would be good if it were more rigid.

The rear hatch on 96- is fiberglass, what do you expect?
Maybe a rear bumper with tire carrier to block the damage? A removable bar/bars that go across from the side armor?
