Lift choice colorado/utah area
Hey guys I am in the military currently stationed in bamberg, Germany. I have a xj which will be my daily driver which you can see in my profile photos but it is set up for wheeling around the Illinois Indiana Wisconsin area aka where I was brought up... Just picked up another xj stock 99 manual with hp front axle... So my question to everyone in the Colorado/utah area would be what do you guys think lift wise for Colorado or out by the Rockies the higher the better? Or short n stout? I will be getting a long arm kit I know my way around jeeps... This one is number 7 in my family all built by me n my old man so I just need some advice from you guys that already know the area out there n what the trails r like... Any advice greatly appreciated starting to buy the build in march (f'in love taxes!!!!) and will put it all together once I get to ft Carson in may.... Thanks in advance!!!!

3.5-4.5" is a good height with 33-35" tires .A long arm would be the preferred lift of choice ,Obviously gears and lockers, and plenty of armor. That is key to wheeling pretty much everywhere you could imagine with a decent spotter.
