Default Legit wheel offset question??

Size: 237.1 KBI searched the threads and didn't quite find my answer. I am putting a 4.5" lift on my 2001 Cherokee XJ and will be running LT285/65R18 tires with 18x9 wheels and have no idea what offset I need the wheels to be. I would like it to look like the picture here, with the tires flush with flares, or just outside. What offset do I need to order to acquire this look. Thanks!!

This is with 4.25" of backspace. Fronts will set out farther than the rear due to contour of the body. Pics you posted look to be 3.75" backspace.

Offset is how many milimeters the mounting surface of the wheel is off from the center. A -30 will stick out more than a -12.

thats basically a 33x11 tire. a -12(3.99) or -13(4.00) will work just fine. i wouldnt go any further out than 3.99. might be able to squeeze a 4.5(-19)

Why no further than 3.99?
