led dome lights
I was in my boys car and he had led lights in the dome lights and now I want some. Does anyone know where to get them for both dome lights or does anyone have them on their jeep? Thanks

There was a thread here awhile back about z guy swapping over every interior light to LED.
Some were not direct plug and play. But its not hard to swap a connector. Most ofbthese are just two or three wire connectors. Real simple.

i just converted my entire 89 to led, except for rear blinker and reverse lights. they are enroute from china tho. the indash flashers are still incan as well as the hi-beam indicator. they are usually not on long enough to worry about. when i put leds in the flasher sockets, the blinker wouldn't work. i picked up a set of load resistors at advanced on the clearance table for $2
the dome light in the ebay ad plugs into a fake "bulb" that plugs in where your incan bulb goes. no modification required. the led pad just lays in the diffuser.
before i started the conversion, i was getting @ 12amps of draw on the battery with running lights on. now i get @ 4amps.
