leafs + shackles or full leafs?
i am going to buy a new 6.5 lift from rusty's. they offer the the back lift as full lift springs or a combo of springs and shackles. what are the advantages of each setup? i intend to use this xj for occasional rock crawling and avoid mud at all costs. which option would be more "flexy"? would one ride stiffer than the other? (down the road)

What he said^^^^^^^Leafs + Shackles. For example 4.5'' leafs + 1.5'' shackle for a 6'' lift is going to have more flex and be less stiff than a full 6'' leaf pack.

i plan on 3inch leaves and the Rough country shackle relocation kit. that way the shackle will be at 45 degrees and will ride better and flex a lot!

thanks for the advice guys. the tech i spoke to at Rusty's was knowledgeable, but left me even more undecided as to what i wanted to do. i will go with the combo.
