Default Leaf spring relocation help

I am redoing the floor in my 96 I am thinking of dropping the leaf spring perches down so the bolt can be accessed from both side which would move it down about two and a half inches any input or thoughts would help! Pictures are even better thanks

Check into the rough country relocation brackets. Does what your saying you want and gains 1.5" lift. Sorry about no picks or links but they are on this sight and theirs a vendor on here too.

I have seen someone on this site do just what your saying. He did his purely for lift but the same principles apply. Sorry I dont remember his name but it will work as long as you fab the brackets correctly and make sure all is square.
