Default leaf spring issue

Hey i have an 01 xj with rc 6" lift, and the bottom leaf of the pack is not aligned with the rest of them on the left side, this i just noticed a couple days ago, after my rear locker popped and the whole jeep shook. this a big issue has anyone come across this before? any ideas or thoughts on repairing this?

Misaligned how? Did it rotate in the pack or shift front/rear?

happens to me every wheeling trip. the center pin is just loose. you can either take the leaf packs off and tighten it, or just pound the leaf back into position. its not that big of issue.

what kind of locker do you have?

It's not that big of an issue until the loose center pin breaks on the highway and an overload spring wiggled out. Then your axle can shift about 3 inches. Scary stuff when it happens at 65. I had just tapped the leaf back into alignment the day before.

Take your leaf packs apart and fix the issue. Check your U-bolts also. I go through most of the suspension bolts now when i do an oil change. It's not super hard and not with the risk IMO

x2 on this. If it's the first time happening grab your BFH and smack that leaf back in place. If it's a reoccurring problem it's time to drop the axle and check your center pins and u-bolts.
