thats mainly the fl crowd I grew up in fl and used to mud all the time. I am just a do it right the first time kind of guy. This my work for him but I just dont see how the risk is worth the gain and muddin induces a ton of stress as well which could lead to ripping of a lowered lca mount

I have them on my jeep and their great so far i dont really get caught up on rocks when im crawling the only thing that i would def get with them, is DOM control arms bc the stock arms are really weak!

your ability to measure thickness with your eyes on a crappy computer picture is amazing. How thick is the metal used on your brackets if mine looks to thin?

I am thinking of getting these ones to hold me over until I can afford long arms:

They look a lot beefier than the Rough Country ones, but don't cost as much as the RE ones. Anyone had any experience with these or products from rocky-road outfitters?

I do rocks with mine and haven't had any issues. I have nailed them several times and they are still good. Only problem I've had was with the self tapping screws backing out on the braces but after I plated the frame I put a small bead on them and they ain't going anywhere.
