if you're staying short arm, then you will be happier with the drop brackets. they are worth it for a higher lift short arm setup

thats what i thought..i bought the jeep with 3 in lift and aftermarket control arms for the 3 in lift..and i lifted it to 5.5 in so i was kind of leaning toward the brackets with the control arms i have now.

i dont have the money for a long arm kit, but ive heard the drop brackets might be better then the long arm..any truth to that?

I run them and they are ok but no where near as nice as long arms. They ride decent on the road and flex better than regular short arms. Mine tend to unload and raise the front end when climbing hills but long arms tend to do the same.

I am running Rough Country's. They seem to be alright. Although I want to get ajustable control arms as I think it would help to dial in the axle a little better.

I have Rough Country and they are great. I dont have any problems and they are not too expensive to buy.

Why not save and do it right the first time. This seems like a great way to lose clearance and make lca mounts easier to rip off when wheeling.
