Default Knocking sound

95 xj 5 speed. Clunking sound when in 4wd low and high. Coming from center of jeep. Already replaced tc chain and output bearings everything inside tcase looks okay.

Check the u-joints? Are the driveshafts greasable? You could even put all 4 corners on jackstands and let it idle in whatever gear it normally does it in. Have someone give it a little gas while you listen underneath. Or, if you know someone with a lift, use that instead. Sometimes its easier to figure things out while you are under it, with the engine running, and in gear.

Rear Drive Shaft is new. and front drive shaft has new u joints but can possible need the center ball bearing part. Sound seems to coming from inside the transfer case.
