Default KC HiLites! What do i get?

Hey guys! So I've already decided on KC's for my 1994 XJ, but they make so many friggin lights idk what's best.

I want to put 4 up top and 2 on my tube bumper.

I want them BRIGHT as possible. Which ones are the brightest? And how much am I looking at per light?

Thanks guys!

I'm new to this forum, I usually kick it at jeepforum. Here's killer:

KC makes HID and LED, but your gonna pay out the nose for them, roughly $425 per light (average).

Next best bet would be H3 bulb, much more affordable, and still a great beam.

Nice looking XJ by the way, welcome to CherokeeForum!

Daylighters (or slimlights if space is an issue). 2 long range on the bumper, 2 driving lights center and 2 flood lights outer on the roof. Reasonably priced (130 for sets of 2 ish), and I don't see any need to be much brighter than that.

I have 2 floods and 2 long range on my roof. Works awesome, but the long ranges are really only good on long flat sections (too focused). They would also work better mounted lower because up high they point at the ground sorta. Driving lights would probably be a better option for twisty FSR and trails. They still work awesome though.

The floods on the roof give you a 180 degree view from the drivers seat whenever you turn them on. Probably one of the best lighting options there is, it rocks. I feel like I'm wearing blinders when I turn them off.

For comparison, my stock 98 Cherokee high beams vs. 2 floods and 2 long range on the roof. Pretty easy to tell which pattern is which.

And whats a good site to buy the 2 floods, 2 long, and 2 driving from?

And I'm looking at about $390 for the lights? Do they come with the wiring and switches and everything?

I got mine from summit racing.

http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...?Ns=Rank%7cAsc

Total comes to 425 for the 6 daylighters. They come with relays, switches, and wiring harness. You will have to extend the harness to make it to the roof though, it's not quite long enough to make it there.
