k&n vs Spectre intake
I got a K&N intake on my jeep now and I bought a parts jeep that has a spectre. I always liked k&n but the parts jeep also had a throttle body spacer. My question is which one will give me better performance the k&n alone or the spectre with the throttle body spacer

I used to own a motorcycle shop. We built them. We could always "jet" the quads with a higher main jet with a good filter not with a "knock off". It would breath better. How long has k&n been around? Before some where even born. That has to speak volumes. K&N also releases dyno charts on their web site. Does Spectra? My buddy got a free setup for letting them use his Jeep. Honestly? I wasn't impressed. I'll stick with K&N personally and I have. I have a CAI K&N on my XJ now. My previous cars and all my other current ones also do too.
Sell the spectra and spacer, keep the K&N and use the money from Spectra and get some 703 injectors. You will thank me.

Spacers are garbage, and don't do anything for the Jeep. Sell it like Crawler said. Stick with K&N.

Spectre takes air from the cavity between the firewall and the cabin, which is real cold air coming from the grill under the windshield, driver side.
The intake in on the passenger side, which mean that even if it rains, water will not be sucked in...
All the info is on their web site...
