i have a 2000 xj thats in great shape with a 2 inch whatever lift on it.....have had it for about half a year and love it. today though i picked up a 96 xj with some good parts on it. i plan on swapping the lift over to my 2000 and parting out the rest. once i have enough posts ill start a part out thread but untill then i was just wondering if anyone had any do's and dont's on what im about to attempt. the 96 i picked up has a full 5.5in rubicon express long arm kit installed and even has a sye! i looked on the site n it seems this lift will fit my 2000 no problem. i was planing on installing this weekend and hopefully making some cash back with the rest. the 96 has a full bolt in roll cage in it too, but im not sure what company makes this. the motor runs and the trans is fine too! the only problem is the frame on this thing is destroyed so thats why these guys were gettin rid of her. im not too sure what gearing was in this jeep but it had 35s on it so im hoping somethin. i think i got a good deal on this thing as long as everything goes as planned, what do u guys think? ill try and get some pics up at some point

might be a 4.5 inch lift but im not positive

sounds like a good deal on the tcase juse take yours out keep it as a spare and install the one with the SYE should bolt right in. i would steal the front and rear axle off the other jeep as well i would almost put money that they are not stock gears in them.

yea parting the cage....and no he kept the 35's. ill have a part out thread up sometime this weekend with pics

my guess is that if he had 35s, a cage, and long arms, then he probably isnt running stock gears....you might even get lucky with a locker.
