Just ordered 235/75/15 nexen MT's, my buddy who works at walmart ordered them too so they will be even cheaper. Taking them to discount tire to get them sipped for the winter time. I think this will look really nice on there. Jeep came with 30x9.5 r15 tires on it, but they are dry rotting. anyone ever used these nexens?

Never used those exact tires. But on my car I gave nexens a shot. Lasted longer then my last set of yokos. They where a little louder on highway. But that was the only real noticeable difference. Handled pretty good in all conditions. Never tried in snow though. For a mall crawler dd I'd probably give then a shot. For a cheap tire I thought they where pretty good. My two cents. Like I said....never had these tires. Just a set of 15s on a Honda. Right now I have a set of firestone tires on my jeep and love them. Best part they were free. Used. But free. But I'm sold on them I think. They perform very well for my mall crawler.

I originally wanted to get General Grabber AT2's because they are actually rated for severe snow, but i couldnt pass these up for the price. im getting 4 tires with 17/32 tread for right under 400 installed. thats ultra cheap. ill have to give a review once the snow flies.

Yes please do. If they do well I'm sure there's a few people on here that would like to know. And boy that is cheap.

No problem. This is the Modified tech section. Its for anything pertaining to modifying your Jeep beyond stock, including tires.

We've got three cherokees (mine + 2 coworkers) that run Nexen tires. Mine as well as one other have the mud/snow tread the other the all season. So far no issues. They seemed to balance ok. Only thing I noted is that the sidewall is definately no BFG All Terrain, but you get what you pay for. All of ours are 31x10.5 Are they noisy? of course, but it's to be expected. No complaints so far, round, black, and cheap!

I've got Nexen Roadian A/T II's, 31's they have lasted real good. I run a daily newspaper route, all on-road and I like them for an all terrain. After I give this up, I want to try the M/T's.

How much are you paying to get the siping done on the tires?
