too nice, they get stolen often.
We've got the 8900 JW Speaker lights in our Peterbuilt, the light output is fantastic, they are truly crazy, but spending that kind of money on lights is generally a little more justified for a truck like that than in an XJ. You could buy a whole XJ for the price of those lights!

Love the HID comparison that is great thanks a bunch. That guy who owns that "dirty" white XJ, oh boy... I'd eat off that thing man! Still going to go with the Truck-Lites and test the durability, I know the HID bulb and just system over all wouldn't withstand what I throw at the XJ

If anyone is wondering how these LEDs do in the snow or fog, they are great. The only problem with them in snow is that if it is white out conditions, then you are reflecting light off the falling snow. In the fog, my fog lights are not needed. This might have been the best purchase for the XJ.

Just read through this thread..Def something I'm goign to consider with my tax return. I get off work and drive home at 1am so it's always dark and the stock headlights aren't worth a d***. Annnnd people get mad if I drive with my 4 offroad lights on

sorry to bring back a year old thread but I have been researching a headlight upgrade for my new to me 2001 XJ. This thread has me convinced that for my use the truck light is the one.

Just an FYI for those interested Drivetrain America is selling them for 360.00 per pair shipped also.

These are definitely on my build list. Looks good man. Everyone seems to say the same thing about these.

Question- any chance you still have your white headlight bezels and want to sell them? I've been looking for months!!!

You will be glad you did. I have mine and even in winter and fog they're great.

I have run my set of truck-lites for almost 4 years now. I love them. even in the snow they are great. sure snow does build up on them but not enough that light can't get through. I paired mine with a set of Rigid Industries Dually Spot pods that act was fog lights. I love the combo.

They are a little pricey but well worth the investment IMO

I've driven through a blizzard with them and could still see better than the stock lights. I did notice snow sticking to the lenses. However they are bright enough to penetrate a little snow build up. I did decide to wipe them off at each stop for gas. Maybe if you live in an extremely cold environment most of the time, a HID setup would be more beneficial to melt away the snow and ice build up.
