i have been running the rustys tie rod conversion kit for about a year now, its good for something that doesnt see alot of woods action. there is no play in the steering wheel.
my only two complaints with it are... 1. the tie rod ends are same as stock. 2 it is a pain in the *** to get it aligned since the draglink is directly mounted to the tie rod. has to be seperated to align and has to be installed in a specific way.
the serious is a great upgrade i should have bough his. 1 the tie rod ends are huge. 2 it is much beefier. 3. it is easier to align.

What you have is roll steering which is common to crossover steering. JCR uses a plastic puck on one side instead of a grease boot so the tie rod can't roll. You can buy these pretty cheap and it'll tighten up yours. I turned one tie rod end one way and the other the opposite so it couldn't roll when I ran the same kit and it worked but prob made the ends wear faster. Get a puck and call it done. Rusty's will roll just like the rugged ridge.

We offer our kit OTK (over the knuckle) or UTK (under the knuckle).
