Jeep Front Sagging
 

Hey Gang,

Got a Question, There is a pic to see the drop in the front bumper. I Purchased a front bumper from Nates4x4.com which weighs 85 lbs. It was easy to install but after dropping the jack I noticed the front end dropped an inch or more. It does not bottom out in deep holes yet since Im running the stock 225/75/15 tire size. I pu new shocks and Leaft springs in the jeep also.

My question is should I do Coil Spacers or get a new set of Springs for the front since they are stock still. I dont want a lift kit yet cause of money, I do that next year.

im Afraid if I do the coil spacers they will split, rot or wont work well with the winch I plan to put on in march of this year. Anyone got suggestions or know the best cheapest way to lift my front end back to the normal height after adding a total of 180 lbs

I'd get some after market heavier duty springs

Hmm... I would get 2" springs, and see if that compensates for the weight. Just a thought...

Dude, get a 2'' coil spacer. It will be just fine. They wont split or rot or anything ha. And they only set you back $30.. if youre planning on getting a lift in the near future this is the way to go.
