Yep guy at my school has an 88 with 97 Cherokee sport doors kinda weird because the doors still say cherokee

Get older doors, 97+ is a different hinge and would take some work to fit and wouldn't follow the exact body lines

Read this and check the pictures, you can use 97+ doors to get rid of the wing window and get better view outta your mirrors. Gotta get the striker as well and be prepared to hang the new doors (patience and another set of hands)

Only the front ones from a 4 door xj will fit

the 98+ will follow the same body lines.. but they will take some work to make them work

If you get the 98+ ones you'll have bigger windows and bigger mirrors.. But the doors wont match the dash. And if you do a dash swap then you might as well do the motor and trans swap. theres plenty of write ups if you just look for them on comacheeclub .com so it may be too much work for what you want.

97- will just bold right it. you might as well do the doorless mod while your at it if you want to go that rout
