I hope that upper bolt doesn't work loose and break causing you to rear end a BMW, like I've seen happen with that kit.
I hope the cross member doesn't buckle in on itself and bend your frame rail, like I've seen happen with that kit.
I hope the castor adjuster doesn't deform and let your axle wildly pitch back and forth, like I've seen happen with that kit.
I hope the wheel hop isn't unbearable with all the bushings used, like I've seen in that kit.
How you ever ran one?
I've noticed that everyone who bashes IRO has never ran any of they're stuff it always "I've heard this" or "I saw this"
And everyone who actually owns IRO praises it!!
I'm just saying!!

I'm certainly not going to purchase something that I KNOW has avoidable weaknesses, downfalls and the immediate potential to fail.
I know that I wouldn't enjoy ****ing this girl... and I didn't have to **** her to know that.

Yay. Another IRO long arm arguement. Look this is how they all go. A bunch of people bash them because the castor adjuster. And then others say they are fine. This is my 2¢. Most of the people talking trash have never run it, or even witnessed a failure. I personally don't like the design because it does seem sketchy. But I have never seen one fail either.(although, I only know 1 person with it) the way I see it. If it was really that bad, I think they would have changed it by now. But when I bought long arms, I wanted something that seemed a little more "sturdy" so I went with TNT.
No, I've never ran one because it's extremely obvious that the kit has flaws. You don't have to own it to see that there are flaws. You also don't have to run it to see it fail.

I have ran it, for a year. Its pretty weak! Happy?
The adjuster is a joke, nearly impossible to properly align your front end because it always moves around. Joints are weak, and cross member could be much better.
I'm on cherokee #6 right now. I've ran iro, rustys, rough country and tnt. For a budget minded kit you get a better kit/way more for your money with the RC. If you have the cash there are better kits, but IMHO iro is dead last.

Your theory has been busted. Here's an owner who isn't happy with the product...

All I can say is its a poor design. Does it work, yes.
Is it efficient/good design no.
Would I run it again, or recommend it? No.
IRO has some good products, I personally feel their LA/cross member is not one of them. I was not impressed like some seem to be.

Iro does offer an 1/2 bolt upgrade for there long arms and a flex joint to replace the stock rubber bushing at the axle upper mount. I'm running it don't have a lot of miles on it but its been great so far took some time to get it dialed in I'm happy with it so far i'm going to take up to gilbert this weekend for its shake down run.
i end up buying their long arm upgrade only, 6.5 coil, and trac bar bracket. the rest of the lift parts im going to keep an eye out in the sale section or just order new. i talked to 3 locals that i had wheeled with with iro la and they said they don't have any problem so im going with da flow.
