now im getting a second thought over the 5.5 kit lol. i'll check out the write up review on the 5.5. might go to plan B, maybe just get the long arm up grade kit and buy piece by piece of the rest of the lift suspension.

Here's everything you'll need to go that tall in one kit. higher quality parts and great customer service I've dealt with both companies. I run a majority of these parts on my jeep and couldn't be happier

I'm personal friends with the owners of iro, I've seen there stuff thrashed hard and come back for more. I have their 6 inch LA kit on my ride and love it. There's always gonna be those guys that tell you something is crap or its the best thing on earth and its gold plated to boot. Make your own decisions and buy what you want.

My buddy had a cherokee for a short period of time with an IRO long arm kit. He was at 8" on 35's. The castor adjustment on these long arms is very weak IMO. Also, the flex joints on his arms were very loose in the threads and would visibly move around.
I like IRO, I think they have decent parts for a fair price. I love my trackbar from them, but I don't think they have the best long arms. I purchased a set of TnT long arms on craigslist and have been going through the process of rebuilding them.

A buddy of mine bought the 6.5" kit I installed it honestly it's a great kit it rides perfect on road and flexes great off road he did the HnT and he didn't get the degree shims or a drop pitman arm and hasn't had any issues at all. I run a clayton three link and his iro kit flexes just as good. Only thing I would have to bash is the sway bar links (fixed style) they didn't last very long but that's with taking the link on and off for the trail.
after reading all the replies, thanks guys i started comparing iro to rc and rustys long arm upgrade, i know some of you guys hate rc and rustys lol to be honest for the 4.5 long arm kit from rc and rustys i'll be paying for almost same price as iro and get little more better parts than iro. the control arms on rc and rustys are adjustable iro are fixed or add extra $100
. rc and rustys have quick discos, iro are fixed. rustys long arm kits look pretty beefy
. i had rustys lift kit in the past don't think i would ever buy rustys lift again, but for the long arm upgrades i might think about it. for now im going to start with short arm lift im leaning toward zone or rc. if i still have my xj this year long arm is definitely be the next upgrade not sure if it's going to be iro ? rustys? or others? thanks guys for the replies.
