interesting engine spec fact
just thought i would let everyone know this, as i just found it out and i was very interested whey they did this.
"The displacement differs between 1990–1995 and 1996-2006 engines by 2 cubic inches. Both had a bore of 3.88 in (99 mm), while the stroke decreased slightly from 3.44 inches (87.38 mm) on the earlier engine to 3.41 inches (86.61 mm) on 1996 and later engines. The displacement of both engines still rounds to 4.0 litres (3999.83 cc v. 3964.95 cc)." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AMC_Straight-6_engine |
Bore x Bore x Stroke = C.I.D. Bot they usally round it up anyways.

But there is no way you could tell the difference while driving

Damn I just realized I can't do the crank swap, I already have the longer stroke. Guess I will just have to add a wing and racing stripes.
