Default Injectors too big?????

I just put in some injectors today. They are for a stroker the light blue ford ones I believe they came out of a navigator. anyway they were all new and flow matched and all that. put them it it ran a little rough for the first couple of warm ups but other than that it seems fine. I didn't notice much power difference if any or any real differences for that matter. which is fine I replaced them due to the stock ones being mismatched and two of them were leaking. But I got to looking around and it looks as if these injectors are running much more fuel than most. 24# at 39 psi. So What Im trying to figure out is should I change anything to optimize my setup.

88 cherokee
4.0 short ram intake.
5 spd.

You're gonna burn through fuel faster with those. 703's/Ford 700's are what you really want.

Did you reset your computer after the injector install its important to do that in order for the computer to adjust to the new injectors

24lb is way too much, you need a ford 19lb.

you say the injectors are for a stroker, do you have a stroker engine? If you dont have a stroker, you are getting too much fuel.

Renix is not adaptive and does not reset like the OBD models. The injectors are too big. Shoulda got 19 lb injectors.

Smaller injectors (Bosch 703 from a Neon) or lower fuel pressure. Dropping the fuel pressure will probably cost more and has the additional downside of less atomization of the fuel.

Only other option is to make it a stroker so it needs the extra fuel the injectors are supplying.

Change them with 19 lb injectors and sell the ones you've got to someone doing a stroker.
