Default injector upgrade part numbers?

Wondering if anyone knew the part number of the injectors from the neon or stratus, or the years of the models and engine size so I can just buy some new ones?

They will probably be expensive if you did so. I think 96 ish dodge neon with the dohc 16v. Then when they bring up the injectors look for the 703 at the end.

I picked up 8 703's from 2 cars in 2 different junkyard yesterday and installed them tonight. I used a '95 Neon and a '96 Stratus for donors. The bosch part number you're looking for is: 0280155703. It's on the left side of the injector when the connector's on top and the nozzle pointing away from you.

Basically, lots of Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth's have them, just look at '95-'97 models, 2.0 and 2.4 four-cylinder motors. They are in tons of vans and cars. I paid $7.74 each.

Soaked them in Sea Foam overnight, popped on new O-rings and installed in about an hour. There are tricks to it, but really a very doable and inexpensive mod!

The neon injector has four holes instead of one like our stock XJ injectors have. So the fuel spray is finer and makes for better fuel atomization(hope this is the word in looking for). Anyways it burns better. I have a set of the 703 injectors but havnt put them in yet. I'm very anxious tho to do so. I have read that you will get better mpgs, better throttle response, and better feel through out the rpm band. The 4.0 will simply run smoother with them in and you will get a few more mpg. I get 16-17 mpg but hoping this bumps it up. Looking to get over 20. But we will see...

First day driving 703's on my '97 Country. Very quick startup every time, quicker throttle response and smoother running noticeable in 8 miles of running around town. I showed it off to a mechanic at a shop where I was picking up some BG 44k to clean my fuel system. He's got a lifted '93 XJ, and he really liked the sound of my 4.0 firing up.

Doing an 400 mile trip in the morning. Mileage comparison coming your way.

It's more modern injector that should have been in the XJ to start with. :^/
