I did an injector swap on my xj. I pulled some off of a dodge neon and some more off another neon cuz the injectors were built different then I went and found a 4.0 xj and pulled its injectors off and compared. One of the sets looked exactly the same as the stock jeep ones so I went with those. They have four holes instead of the one hole jeep injectors. Made a pretty good difference. Pretty cheap too. Good luck

The part number on the Neon injector should end in 704.

If your pate 98 and later it needs to end in 784.

No rdplz has a great write up with lots of great info.

doesn't it end in 703? I've not heard 704 before.

703 is correct. Just put them in my 96. Havnt driven much but made a difference on start up. And it idles better. And when I rev it up it seems quicker and more responsive. But I'm more curious about has mileage.

I had good results with a set I bought from Precision Fuel Injectors (http://www.precisionautoinjectors.co...1?categoryId=3)

Don't expect a massive improvement. I gained a couple of mpgs. Just be really careful when installing. Any kind of a leak and you WILL have an engine fire.

I've never had any problem dumping raw fuel onto raging hot manifolds.
